From the dream of three brothers to work together with the family inherited profession, Accord Móveis, a fine furniture factory in the city of Dois Vizinhos-PR, is born.
The idea arises of creating products for serial production using the acquired know-how. In collaboration with architect Maricilda, the Zen luminaire, Accord's first wooden luminaire, was developed.
Accord participates for the first time in Expolux, Latin America's largest lighting fair, presenting itself as Accord lighting and receiving the Abilux design award for the Zen luminaire.
After serving all Brazilian states, Accord decided to take the next step: Expansion to the international market.
Back in 2020, a major milestone for the brand was the opening of its first permanent showroom in the United States, located in Dallas, Texas, officially launched during the Lightovation fair.
We inaugurated our second permanent showroom in the United States, located in North Carolina, during the High Point Market.
After a long journey filled with experience, achievements, and growth, innovation clears the way to return to its roots and forge a new path. Thus, once again, a new beginning arises — with Accord Home!
Accord operates in compliance with CARB standards, a mandatory regulation for exports to the United States. The label certifies sustainability in the production of MDP panels and low formaldehyde emissions, with periodic audits conducted by the EPA (United States Environmental Protection Agency).
